Does anyone know if I can use the advanced XML settings by ........ on the raspberry pi? I'm asking for buffering issues, where it changes to "0". I'm going with the setup of using a 3.0 Flash drive.

If I do, will the buffer save to the sd card, the usb stick, or the RAM?

You can. Setting <cachemembuffersize>0</cachemembuffersize> will cache streams to wherever you've got your storage-partition. Setting it to 20971520 should suffice though and increase the longevity of your flash memory.

Yes, it works a treat on my Pi set up, using a Transcend JetFlash 8GB 3.0 stick, as recommended in the tutorial video.
